For Mother’s Day, Alaska down to the Heritage Centre
May 2, 2013 by Sarah
The upcoming Mother’s Day celebration coincides with the opening of the summer season at the Alaska Native Heritage Center.
Providing the entire family with something in which to participate in, poster printing, brochure printing, and banner printing might have been used to spread the word about this event to people in this region and this community, highlighting all the events planned for the day.
Although the Alaska Native Heritage center is open year round, it celebrates its summer season programming by kicking it off on Mother’s Day. During this festive event, families are invited to join all the mothers in the area and enjoy a fun-filled day that will feature live dancing, a variety of foods, prizes, activities for adults, and arts and crafts for the children who attend.
Admission to this event is sponsored by Target, and there are plenty of activities for the entire family. The facility has bus and motor-coach parking and, since it is held in the Anchorage Metro area, parking is available in a number of locations as well.
Admission is free and everyone is welcome to join in the festivities. The Mother’s Day Celebration and Opening Day ceremony will be held on Sunday, May 12, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Alaska Native Heritage Center located at 8800 Heritage Center Drive in Anchorage, Alaska. To learn more about this annual celebration, please visit the Heritage Center website or call its office at 907-330-8000.
