Workshop goes with the flow

Tuesday, September 4, sees the ‘Cash Flow’ workshop held at the Stephen P. Clark Government Center located at 111 NW 1st Street, Floor 19 West, in Miami, Florida. This session will be held from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

The focus of this interactive seminar is to teach participants the importance of understanding how critical cash flow is to operating a new and successful business. Cash flow is normally the main reason that most small businesses fail and this session is designed to prevent this from happening to businesses started by participants.

The workshop will look at all the aspects of planning and controlling cash flow using a spreadsheet program. A critical look will be studied using a simple budgeting program, as well as how to manage cash flow using the tried and trusted ‘paper’ accounting system. Students will learn the importance of making cash flow part of their daily business activities and a question-and-answer period should clarify any matters.

All details given in this session will be based on small business terminology, so the students will have a real understanding of each term. The instructor for this session is Jerry Selevan, who is a former CPA with interests in many multifaceted businesses.

For those looking to start their own business or buy into some of the top franchise opportunities available today, this session would give them a head start into small business money management. Admission is $30 per person and can be paid online using Paypal or credit card. For additional information, please visit the Score Miami website or call their office at 786-425—9119.
