Farmingdale, NY (4/15/13) – David Robarts and Erica Wieffering have re-opened a Minuteman Press Franchise in a busy vibrant shopping center! Although they have only been open a month, David, Erica and staff have already added to their equipment range to satisfy client’s requirements.

“Minuteman Press has been a very supportive franchise to buy into,” says owner Erica.   “We went through to New York for two weeks and had very intensive training, assisting us with the market trends, the equipment required and how to operate them successfully.”

Minuteman Press of Montana had a small and personal opening day on March 1, 2013.  “We invited our close friends as well as other Minuteman Press owners within our area,” notes owner Erica. “I found this very informative on the one hand, as the established owners offered advice from their experiences and entertaining on the other hand with “war” stories of their trials and tribulations of opening a new store.”

Farmingdale, NY (4/10/2013) – Doug Fredrickson, owner of the Minuteman Press located in Surrey, BC was featured in a seven page article in Canadian Business Franchise Magazine, the number one selling franchise magazine in Canada! In the article, Doug takes the reader through every step of becoming a Minuteman Press Franchisee; from meeting a representative at a franchise show, to attending training school, to purchasing independent print shops to grow his existing business.

Prior to owning a Minuteman Press Franchise, Doug did not have any experience in the printing industry. After working at Canadian tire for 12 years, Doug decided to go into business for himself. “Given my automotive background, I looked into muffler shops and other related franchises. But at a franchise show the printing industry struck me as interesting,” says Doug. “What was especially appealing to me about Minuteman Press was its profit margins.”

Farmingdale, NY (4/5/13) –Don and Dana Venosta, owners of Minuteman Press in Morgan Hill, recently moved to a new location! The Venosta’s have been at the same location since they became franchise owners in October 2002.

Don, Dana and their staff are excited about the increased amount of space that their new location offers. “Our new facility is in a light industrial area and is 3200 square feet,” says Don.  “Previously we were in a retail location which was 1900 square feet. We love our new facility!”

Morgan Hill Minuteman Press plans to celebrate their new location by holding a ribbon cutting ceremony with their local Chamber of Commerce later this month. They are looking forward to “increased sales and profits” for the coming year, and cite having lunch with their Regional Vice President, Bob Ylinen, as a favorite aspect of being a Minuteman Press owner.

Farmingdale, NY (4/1/13) – Mohammed Ghani is the new proud owner of Minuteman Press Fort Collins! This location has been under the same ownership for over 20 years and Mohammed is ready and excited to take over the reigns. In addition to owning a Minuteman Press, Mohammed also owns a software company that is responsible for payroll and accounting services.

“I used to farm out all of my printing needs such as paychecks, tax forms etc.,” says Mohammed. “I wanted to provide a one stop shop for my customers, but I had no printing experience, so I thought it would be best to research a franchise and Minuteman Press was the best fit for me.”

A Grand Re-Opening Celebration / Open House is set to take place on Thursday, April 18^th.  “We will have special offers for new customers and let everyone know that we are under new ownership,” says Mohammed.  Xerox will be on hand to give demonstrations, and there will be food and other activities for all who attend.

When asked what he is most looking forward to, Mohammed states, “I’m looking forward to getting the store back up to its peak sales-wise and then possibly expanding to two or three satellite stores within the next three to five years.”
