From Tuesday, March 6 until Thursday, March 8th, 2012, Clemson University Sonoco Institution for Packaging Design and Graphics will be offering a new seminar that focuses on how to bring intelligence and automation into the prepress workflow. As part of this seminar, several guest speaker including Bobby Congdon from Sonoco Institution, Mike Rottenborn from Hybrid Software, Patrick Ruebensaal from xpedx, Sean Dawson and Leo Wiltgen from Screen, and Terry Milano, Susan Nell, and Larry Moore, all from Esko will provide information and technology that about the foundation of developing and working smarter using the prepress workflow programs. Many of these talks are aimed at working faster with fewer errors.
Participants will learn how to develop and work hands-on with data-driven workflow using various technologies including planning, automating, repeating, proofing, and integrating using existing systems. This seminar will take the mystery out of JDF, ROI, and much more, plus allow for adequate networking and discussing between industry experts and suppliers.
This seminar is geared to show a return on your investment in very little time, so even if you only develop one idea that could speed up or improve your current technology from the start, your own company would save a great deal of money by reducing the costly press errors. This seminar will be held at The Sunoco Institution of Packaging Design and Graphics, Clemson University, in the 311 Harris A. Smith Building.
