On Tuesday, May 22, 2012, the Print Industries of America, Southern California division will be presenting a new ‘Media Workshop for Printers’ in the PIASC Conference Room located at 5800 S. Eastern Avenue, 4th Floor, in Los Angeles, California. This event will run from 9am to 3:30pm. This workshop is limited to 16 people, so advanced registration is required.
The media workshop is being presented by V.P. of Digital Technologies, Julie Shaffer, and Senior Instructor and Manager of Training Programs, Joe Martin. For print owners or print franchise owners looking to expand their business opportunities way beyond paper and ink, this workshop will cover how to combine interactive media with engaging print, how to track the success of the campaign established, how to evaluate customer feedback, how to target the audience, and how to offer cross channel opportunities. This workshop will cover today’s internet and mobile trends, explain augmented reality, and how to link smartphones and print technologies. There will be demonstration on how to create effective websites, how to sell combined technologies, and how to tell which customers could benefit from these combined technologies.
This workshop was designed to give guests a fresh approach and new ideas, which they can integrate with technology enhancements into their business through new services that will become opportunities for generating additional revenue.
