We produce consumable products that are handed out, mailed, written on, and eventually thrown away and need to be reordered regularly. Since we began franchising there have been many changes. For our business model these changes have made running a successful Minuteman Press center easier and more efficient. We have been able to harness and benefit from advances in digital technology, due in part to the size of our organization. We have the capability to manufacture products at lower operating costs than ever before, especially in full color. We can turn around orders faster and more efficiently while still maintaining the quality and service that our customers have come to expect. Our owners consult their clients on how they can save them money and promote their business through printed media.
The printing industry has had enormous growth in digital printing over the past decade and that growth is expected to continue. The retail value of digital printing (printed pages purchased) has continually grown by over $10 billion from 2004 to 2010*. This growth is being driven by a variety of digital print services from direct mail, marketing materials, fulfillment kits and other print on-demand services. Minuteman Press’s unique niche in the printing industry allows our owners to take advantage of this phenomenal growth in the digital market.
