Creating a Winning Business Plan

On Wednesday, June 13th, the “Creating a Winning Business Plan” workshop will be held at the William Paterson University located at 218 Memorial Drive in Paterson, New Jersey. This workshop will take place from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm in the Community Technology Center at PCCC located on the campus.

If you are looking to start a small business or take advantage of any franchise opportunities, this workshop will be of great assistance to those who attend. This workshop is sponsored by the New Jersey Small Business Development Center. The speaker for this event is Bill Tully who will be covering how important a business plan is and how it is key tool during all stages of a business’ development, from start up to expansion. During this session, guests will learn about the various components in a standard business plan including executive summary, the cover letter, the organizational plan, the financial plan, how to organize and acquire supporting documents to obtain an SBA Loan, or loans from angel investors or venture capitalists. During this workshop, the guest will be involved in the preparation of a detailed, sound business plan that can be used and is necessary for starting and managing a business effectively. These workshops fill quickly, so everyone are asked to pre-register for this event. This workshop will aid aspiring entrepreneurs by providing them a better understand of their own business from the ground up.
