Farmingdale, NY (05/31/2012) – On May 21st, 2012, The Minuteman Press digital print franchise in Brentwood, CA doubled its capacities! The franchise recently bought out a competitor that was located less than 2 miles away. The competitor, named Prestige Press, is not a franchise and the owner was looking for a way to get out when he met Bob Nicoles.

Bob Nicoles, owner of the Minuteman Press in Brentwood said that it has been a year and a half since the process of buying out Prestige Press began, and he is excited about all the possibilities acquiring this center will bring. They will be having a Grand RE-Opening ceremony sometime in the near future but no date has been set yet; as Bob has said “I’d like to have room to walk in my store before we can do that.” Bob’s long-term goal for this business acquisition is to be able to generate a ton more revenue, along with growing his already loyal customer base.

The home office of Minuteman Press, and RVP Bob Ylinen, want to wish Bob and his staff nothing but success with the new location.

Farmingdale, NY (05/30/2012) – The Minuteman Press digital printing and graphics owner in Plum PA, not only participated on Saturday May 19th, 2012 in helping her Rotary Club demolish a bathroom, but she also recently helped the local chamber reach 100 members!

Geetika Tandon, the printing franchise owner, has been a member of the local rotary club since she opened her doors back in January of 2010. When one of the members was recently diagnosed with severe Multiple Sclerosis (MS), she along with other members, reached out to help. The members diagnosis was so severe that she could not even walk with out assistance and getting to and from the bathroom was a challenging obstacle course. The rotary club wanted to help, so in the recent months they have held charity events to raise money for a new bathroom for the member! They finally reached their goal in early May, and one of the conditions was that the Rotary members had to demolish the old bathroom so the new custom one could be built! On Saturday, Geetika and fellow members took to the house and demolished the room in just a few hours! Geetika was extremely humbled to be able to help her fellow rotary member, and she wishes her the best out of life.

Also the Plum Chamber, which Geetika help create about two and a half years ago, has prided themselves on their ability to reach out to the community and drive people to join. This is demonstrated in the fact that, from January 2010 when the Plum Chamber was founded, to now they were able to generate interest in 100 people to become a part of their organization! Geetika, who sits on the board, and is in charge of member development, is extremely pleased in how the chamber has evolved and she is looking forward to its continued growth!

Minuteman Press’ home office, along with her Area Manager George Fair, commends Geetkia on her continued support she lends to her community. Her giving nature is one of the many reasons why she is successful, in her business, and life as well.

Farmingdale, NY (05/29/2012) – Doug & Brenda Walton, who own the Minuteman Press in Fredericksburg, VA held an open house in April to show off their new shop location! The new shop is located at 10699 Courthouse Road in Fredericksburg.

They moved to the other end of the shopping center were they were originally located because the space that opened up allowed for more room and more capabilities, that they would not be able to accomplish in the old location. The local Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony on April 13^th, 2012 at the new location, as Doug and Brenda also celebrated their five year anniversary of owning their own digital print and graphics franchise!

Farmingdale, NY (05/29/2012) – Dom Passanisi, owner of the Mountain View, CA Minuteman Press franchise, recently purchased his second location! The 2^nd location is located at 1043 Serpentine Lane, Suite D, Pleasanton CA 94566 and has been in business for over 20 years.

Dom decision into expanded his current business and buying a second franchise was due in part to the wild success he has had in the year and a half he has owned the Mountain View printing center. He plans on having the two locations work hand in hand together, as they are only about 20 miles apart. “With this new location we have the opportunity and capabilities now to have two stores work together and help each other out,” said Dom “ Our goal is to do more with less and get into a good market and continue to build the customer base that we have already established.”

They plan on doing a grand re-opening party and ceremony with the local chamber sometime in June. Dom is extremely excited to see how successful this second location will be, and his ultimate goal is to be a million dollar store!
